Still can't get over TOYCON POPLIFE FAN X 2018! Will share my experience in another post...

Starting the presscon is Toycon’s Event Marketing Head, Cholo Mallillin and Media Relations Officer,
Azrael Coladilla who shared with us the history of Toycon and how they started their partnership
with PopLife FanX.

“What we want to give TOYCON Fans every year is a sense of belonging with various fan communities.
We bring in guests and experiences that bring fans back to why they collect toys, cosplay, read comics,
or rewatch their favorite TV series or movies in the first place..” Mallillin said.
We also got to have a little interview portion for the celebrity guests. Michael Copon, Dante Basco,
Kelly Hu, Kevin Grevioux and Neal Adams were there for the presscon.
Didn't know that Michael Copon had Filipino blood in him! Learned so many things about how their life
changed since accepting the roles they took on.. Neal Adams is a very funny man! Dante Basco also
shared their struggles as asian actors on Hollywood and how roles that are supposed to be played by
asian people are being played by other nationalities and whatnot. Kelly Hu also expressed her love
for Mangoes hahahaha
Unfortunately, due to a health issue, Jason David Frank cannot make it to the event. The organizers did
assure those who bought VIP tickets that they will still honor the VIP Tickets to meet Jason David Frank
on a separate Meet and Greet Event this year. (Still waiting for the details about this event)
After getting a few questions from our fellow media people, we then proceeded to another hall at the
SMX Convention Center for the Media Launch of Toycon PopLife FanX 2018.
They also let a few fans in the venue and there the panel was again invited on-stage and took some
questions from the fans and media. It was quite an amazing experience for a nerd like me hahaha
After the panel interview, comes the much awaited performance from a japanese idol group, Kissbee!
The group composed of Takano Hina (鷹野日南), Tsubaki Meira (椿明来), Nakayama Seika (中山星香), Otawa Sakura (太田和さくら), Tanifuji Misaki (谷藤海咲), Ishii Miona (石井美音奈), Ooe Rena (大江麗菜) and Maeda Rion (前田璃音) performed their tracks at the Sound Arena which is part of ToyCon 2018 PopLife FanX!
They are really kawaii and really engages with the audience as they wholeheartedly perform their hits. And I'm also happy that there are fans here in the Philippines too...too bad I didn't get a chance to get the photos as they were dancing and singing along with KissBee..

What a way to end the Media Launch! I really enjoyed the performance of KissBee as well as getting to see some of my childhood heroes like Michael Copon!
