Gundam X Uniqlo: The 40th Anniversary of Gundam Collab with Uniqlo

Uniqlo in collaboration with Bandai, and Bandai Spirits celebrates the 40th anniversary of Gundam by releasing limited edition shirts through in-store and online.

March 28th of this year marks the launching of Gundam's collaboration with Uniqlo and to celebrate this amazing collaboration, Uniqlo held a Trivia night for Gundam enthusiasts and fans! The event is hosted by the one and only Justin Quirino, who is rocking one of the exclusive designs from the collaboration.

The venue is filled with Gunpla(Gundam Plastic Models) that will definitely ignite your childhood memories from watching this amazing anime series.

I'm drooling for this kit right down here. I'm looking for this kit since I'm also a gunpla builder, but can't seem to find this locally, or maybe it has already been sold out :(

 Anyway, after a sumptuous meal provided for us, the trivia night started by introducing the participating teams(I don't have photos of all).

Each team will provide the answers to the questions for each round via the white board and marker that they have on their tables and points will be accumulated for correct answers. The team with the most points moves on to the next round and the last team to have the highest points in the game wins!

The questions revolve around the very first gundam series called Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin Series. It aired during 1979 which started this whole Mecha genre that we all grew up and loved as children(and honestly, until now! haha)

Because the answer was TITO BOY ABUNDA! hahahaha we got a good laugh from this one.

And then there was one...the team with the highest points. The winners of the Trivia Night won RG Kits from Bandai!

Congratulations to the winners! And Happy 40th Anniversary to Gundam!
Uniqlo is definitely winning the Pop Culture game by collaborating to these iconic brands!
