Gone Cashless: A More Convenient Way To Send Money To Your Loved Ones

With the technology today, banks and other service providers like Pawn Shops, Bayad Centers, Remittance Centers, and Telcos offer different ways to send money to your loved ones even without their own bank accounts like we traditionally do.

The advent of the internet and systems that enable these service providers and their customers to transact in real-time and securely paved the way for going cashless

In this blog post, I will share with you how a more convenient way to send money to your loved ones through GCash.

The Convenience Factor

Like I've talked about in my other GCash related posts, features, like sending money or going cashless in today's world, are some of those that really appeals to me since I have a very tight schedule at work and there are times that I cannot go to the banks or ATMs to withdraw my funds or transact over the counter of bank branches.

Convenience is definitely a must for someone like me and maybe for some of you too.

Send Money Anytime Anywhere(as long as you have the internet)

Sending money whether for your family or friends especially over long distances(or you know, just need to transfer funds for payments, expenses, etc) is quite a hassle. You either need to go to banks to deposit on their accounts or to a remittance center to send them money. 

GCash cuts through all of that and lets you send money from your phone to their gcash account.

This feature is real-time and all you need is their GCash registered mobile numbers :)

How Does It Work?

GCash users get to have a digital wallet which they can fund directly or receive money from others. To send money to your friends and family's GCash Wallets:

1. Open and Login to Your GCash App and Select SEND MONEY 
   
2. Choose a method on how you will send your money. For this blog post, we'll focus on Express Send. If you want to see how you can use the other methods,check it out here. 
   
3. Enter the GCash Registered number of the recipient and the amount you want to send then press DONE. 
   
4. You can leave a note as well and then tap CONFIRM 
   
5.  See the confirmation message and also you will receive a text confirmation about this transaction. 
   

And you've successfully sent money through GCash! It's so simple, right? :)

Use Cases for SEND MONEY Feature

There are alot of use cases for this feature and in my experience I use it for the following:

• Sending money to friends and family 
• Depositing Money to their Bank Account via Instapay(Bank Transfer Feature)
• Transferring funds from one account to another (Bank to Bank or GCash to GCash)
• Paying for services or products from online sellers

Final Thoughts

It has been a blast since I've been using my GCash more and more and embracing the Cashless Lifestyle. Features like this from GCash saves not only my time, but also give me the flexibility of handling my money. People from my workplace and even my relatives at home now use GCash from time to time as I've been bugging them to use GCash for it's convenient features. Send Money is definitely one of their favorites :)
